@DugoutMantis I wouldn’t call myself necessarily “in” the FO. I don’t answer to JJ. More a mercenary / fixer type of a character is how I’d refer to it. But there’s involvement at every level.

@royalsexec I mean both staff and rosters got us an over achieving season and an under achieving season. I’m sure after seeing the data, decisions will be made. I’m not worried that “guy” is gonna be afraid to fire a coach if he needs to.

@Royalsdlh What I am or am not calling for will have to wait about 50 or so days. With how many hours / days I’ve put into the draft, I’d like to see it play out from the inside.

It would be what I’d do. It’s not what’s going to happen—not in season. I’ve spoken about this.

I’m also struggling to put together a board. I could more bucket it as “players I’d want in the top 10”, and at this point it’s just Lackey, Rojas, Booth, Lombard. Weird draft class as it looks today.

I actually like EJ booth quite a bit, as a prospect in a vacuum. I’ll let other folks decide if booth is a smart profile to select at 6 after taking gamble at 23 last year. I’m not sure what I think quite yet.
