@DentistryUnder1 You might be just as well off asking a magic 8 ball this question as you are asking me. I feel fairly confident in his ability to pitch better than the sum of the parts, though.
@royalsexec How confident are we in Noah Cameron's ability to not fall off a cliff?
Any chance he can settle in as a 2-4 WAR starter, or is he destined for major regression?
@mikeisnice18 Organizational philosophy is a little more involved than that, tmk. It’s more about pitches that work with guys’ other pitches. I’m sure some of our lab guys have spoken on it more in depth than I’m prepared to.
@royalsexec Is it an organizations philosophy to generate more drop and less IVB on the CH? Mason black has intrigued me due to how his little used changeup (compared to other Sweeney projects) was in limited sample with SF.
@royalsexec Your willingness to trade Chourio/Shields to get players who line up w this window better (this year & next). Say Rangers lag in a booming Evan Carter year, would u deal?
@Ttimmons1980 No. But wins in the dog days count just as many, too. Having this depth is going to help a team that’s historically had struggles in June and July.
Royals media is going to have a lot of conniptions in the early season. Remember, the OD roster is very different than what it looks like in May, which is very different from July, which is very different from September/October.
@MakielGlazier Yep. If you’ll recall, Cameron/Bowlan/Sisk/Cruz didn’t break camp last year, and ended up being valuable pieces both in terms of production and trade value. There’s a lot of churn over the course of a season.
@royalsexec@PasquatchWRLD Yah there’s not a ton, different deliveries but Lincecum & Oswalt come to mind. KC listed at 6-0 which makes me wonder if he’s 5-10, 5-11, haven’t got to “size him up” yet.
@KennyMac1984@PasquatchWRLD He’s got a couple of good secondaries. Just didn’t use them much today. Changeup looks really fun, slider looks solid at least.
