PSA to all high school coaches: Summer program coaches respect the high school season and never put kids in a position where they have to choose between their high school team and summer basketball during your season. With that same respect, we ask that you be mindful during the summer months as well. Please don’t make players feel like it’s mandatory to participate in summer leagues or workouts that conflict with their AAU or exposure events. During the summer, we are working to prepare these athletes for the upcoming high school season while also helping them gain exposure for college scholarships and opportunities. Let’s continue to work together in the best interest of the kids. Thanks in advance.
