The game doesn’t look nothing like it did 10 years ago, heck 5 years ago. And two years from now many showcases, tournaments, clubs, evaluators, coaches and Directors who are poppin’ now won’t be relevant. The game goes in cycles and is evolving at an exponential rate. Think about the circuits, people and things now that weren’t even in existence just a couple years ago. You better be a visionary, flexible and willing to adapt or else you will be left behind. Just my random $0.02!

With all the changes affecting high school ballers like the 5 In 5, Transfer Portal etc etc ……. Why aren’t more players playing by Club/AAU in their Senior seasons? If you’re unsigned then keep getting better and embrace as many playing opportunities in front of coaches as possible🤷🏿♂️

If you are not going to recruit/offer HS kids, stop banging them for camp fees!

I’m a huge advocate of college elite camps. I do understand that not everyone there is in the schools recruiting pool.
HOWEVER, in the current recruiting environment these schools need to be transparent and tell these kids if they don’t have available spots in a class!

Nah, I don’t have the history you do! I understand your point and I’m sure it’s right quite often. I do think the target and extra defensive gameplan faced can lead to some extra development because of the problem solving it creates. But if the ego gets too big, it’s a definite fail.

Life is different when you’re a player that is the TOP PRIORITY of opposing teams scout. Like the defenses total focus is on stopping you. Everyone else has it easier.
