i just know i’m getting to get shit for this but whatever this entire fandom is imploding anyways : this is going too fucking far.. holding the boys accountable does not mean harassing them, insulting them, accusing them of queerbaiting (real people cannot queerbait that’s literally not what that word means), wishing them physical pain. i’ve seen people say they hope tyler gets hurt. that they hope bad things happen to his family. what the fuck. that’s not activism. that’s not holding anyone accountable. that’s just cruelty dressed up as righteousness. you can be disappointed. i am. you can criticize. i did. you can want better from them. i do. but there’s a line and a lot of people are crossing it and acting like the cause justifies it. it doesn’t. being pro palestine doesn’t give you a free pass to be a terrible person to someone else. and honestly? some of this feels like people using the situation to take out grievances that have nothing to do with palestine. that’s not accountability that’s a pile on. i can’t get behind this. i won’t. and if you don’t agree with me on this you need to take a big look inside of yourself. and to make it clear: i am pro palestine and i agree we need to hear from them. i do not take back my previous statement. but there is a difference between calling out important issues and harassment. learn it. please donate if you can. clikkies for palestine link is below. free iran. free sudan. free congo. free the uyghurs. free ukraine. fuck trump. fuck ice. fuck the rise of the right wing in europe and across the world. fuck racism. fuck transphobia. fuck homophobia. don’t only give a fuck about one world horror. if you’re going to be an activist don’t be performative and only focus on the one “popular” issue.
