Popping back here to advertise a thing I'm in. The Auckland University Student Choir is putting on its first solo concert next Friday. I've been part of the committee helping to run this choir for the last year and a half and it should be a great concert!

@Tiare_MP Same deal on Te Huia. Last year going down for Christmas it was $9 on the train and $40something for the bus back up a few days later.

@Tiare_MP not sure what the lowest number of list seats a major party has won but even in their worst and best elections, they tend to have at least like 5 seats clear
English

@Tiare_MP I think it's wise to assume seats will be held by minor parties because it tends to happen and we have no basis for predicting otherwise (except like Peter Dunne stepping down in 2017 etc.) but major party electorate seats follow trends and major party overhangs are unheard of
English

Okay this poll runs on the assumption that National retains all of its electorate seats, an unlikely thing to happen, thus providing two overhangs.
On my guesstimate they'd be on about 36-37 electorate MPs, bringing their total to 42 and giving the left a majority of one.

@Tiare_MP 90% chance if they merged into one party they'd instantly drop in the polls never able to get a majority again
English

@Tiare_MP this poll is good for my side which means it must be correct

I’ve been hypothesising an imminent big boost for Te Pāti Māori and this all but confirms it with them on 7% (!!!!)
