No punishment except, player contracts done get renewed, coaches get fired and at times teams seize to exist. MLS is tough to handle, aside from the travel, winning an MLS cup isn't easy

@lazydays1970 @frenchjraff @bwfast I'd argue that European futbol deflated a bit in the last couple years. Be it the Chinese super league, the Saudi league or MLS taking up some players, you've seen a step back in overall quality top to bottom in Europe compared to the late 90s early 2000s

We produced way too few American pro players before MLS and we still produce way too few. We send our best to Europe pre mls and now…

It OPENS up American soccer to more than 30 permanent cartel members… Competition req of US businesses except major leagues. other US leagues have no world wide competition which MLS does so that is why MLS will not to improve on field product.
