I think part of the issue is that a lot of the stories about this are framed in such a way that it sounds like all that steak and lobster and sushi is going to Pentagon leadership, when in reality it’s going to troops overseas, sailors who have had their deployments extended, etc

@jhlad That’s the worst. When I retired it turned out I had been misdiagnosed and sent to PT only for a foot injury when I had in fact had torn ligaments and a bone spur in need of surgery for two years

@rpiperusmc I injured my foot three weeks ago, got an X-ray two weeks ago, and just got a call 10 minutes ago that I need to come in for more X-rays. Gah.

Why is it impossible to call your (military) medical clinic to ask a question? And why does location & PCM on Tricare messaging not automatically change when you PCS and get a new provider? It’s like the system was designed for a completely different population than it serves.
