Taking a campaign break for some bowling!! Little H is introducing a new style and some of us are turkey hunting.

It was an interesting conversation with Action Academy. They asked great questions about Sioux Falls and had some very interesting ideas. We covered everything from setting policy for roads to building support to overcome a Mayor’s veto. Lots of talk about taxes on candy bars.

She has skills!!! She has passion!!! It’s great to see Big H and her peers finish the show choir season strong.

Helping your teenager study for the driver’s exam is a good reminder to keep that license renewed. I don’t know if I’d pass the exam again if my license lapsed!! Oofda, I need to do some reworking of my driving habits.

Forgiveness is available. Forgiveness from the Creator is a gift that you can share with others. You can be forgiven and forgive. That is the way to true joy rather than rotting in resentment. Give God thanks tonight for forgiveness and ask for the strength to forgive.

Little H is off school for the day and thinks she gets to run the city!! She has proposed a variety of holidays that will create many more days off school. We are helping her understand all the bureaucracy she will need to work through to get the proposals approved.

Glorious!!! Yes, that sunset is certainly beautiful. Add to it that we finish the week forgiven because of what the Creator did for us. Wow….glorious beyond words. Forgiven and enjoying creation….that is the life!!

There have been lots of rumors about my future endeavors and that has been heating up more with questions about a coaching contract!! Well, the contract doesn’t appear to be coming as the losses pile up. Therefore, I’ll be seeing you on the campaign trail very soon.

You are never too old for an afternoon recess. I stopped home for a quick break to show the young bucks that the 44yr old can still dominate in dress shoes. Take 15 minutes today and do something with those you love.

It is an interesting sight at Barnes N Noble today. There are so many men just holding two coffees patiently and encouraging ladies to look at more books. What is going on today?
