During my first pregnancy a lot of people made rude comments about my appearance/weight gain, and i ended up having a girl This time around I’ve received far fewer insults and way more compliments. Does that mean I’m having a boy?

This is your sign to take your kids creek stomping. We had ages 1-14 out today they had a blast catching tadpoles and little fish.

@w0rm_face Another trend that pissed me off is Traditional Boy Name™️ for your girl which is a direct result of girlboss girls should all be more like men culture. No thank you!

Perhaps my biggest hot take is that the decline of traditional etiquette led directly to a rise in anxiety and depression, as well as autism diagnoses. Social scripts remove ambiguity and protect people. Boomers thought that all this stuff was creaky and suffocating, but the alternative has clearly been worse. Now Gen Z and Gen Alpha are reinventing Puritanism from first principles. They’re terrified of sex, terrified of social interaction, and they’re desperately asserting exotic new forms of heirarchy to assume some kind of certainty and control in the vacuum. There’s a reason that Woke really took off on Tumblr and Reddit, places dominated by insecure and neurotic teenagers. It’s because nobody knows How To Succeed With Brunettes anymore! You can draw a straight line from the hippie rebellion against etiquette to Curry Barker’s megahit Obsession, which ironically features a brunette as subject of desire, horror, and pity all at once, and a young man who unleashes hell because he doesn’t understand the rules of the game.
Military History Now@MilHistNow

Believe it or not, but you're looking at a clip from a 1967 U.S. Navy training film entitled 'How To Succeed With Brunettes.' The 16-minute movie offers dating tips for young officers (and gentlemen) and served as a sort of survival guide for inexperienced ensigns.

I’ve been a mom since 2012 so I’ve been consuming modern children’s media since then and I can tell you it’s all just this ‘girls get it done and boys are little sensitive babies!’ trope over and over. It’s all so tiresome at this point what are we even subverting?
