@rslashchips It’s happened but locally we’ve had at least 5 people get banned from every LGS in a 25 mile radius because they refused to play against UB commanders and wouldn’t trade pods then proceeded to exclusively target UB players cause at least a couple of people to quit

before universes beyond, commander players have never gotten mad about what commander you’re playing

@Chosler @wzrdnx I’ve witnessed man children in person on Commander night at an LGS literally throw a fit when he got paired in a pod with two UB deck commanders. It really brings down the vibe at the store.

@Roaringliger1 I think all of these are possible without having an insane amount of format-debilitating fast mana lying around. The dual lands + eternal interaction is all there already. It just feels like the wants of the few is outweighing the principle of the format + average player

For a game advertised as a place to play the cards that cant be played much elsewhere, to ban a card cause some people have poor game sense and a following on the internet so people will follow them blindly, its definitely not alright. Card is fine. Play better. Stop ID'ing.

@Roaringliger1 I think if this is your opinion there’s probably no convincing you otherwise. I think commander is largely made worse by a lot of high-ubiquity cards (sol ring to me is the worst offender) but if you feel as though the games should be more volatile then we’re at an impasse.

@Roaringliger1 The fact it can be played in b3 is the issue. It’s just beyond the pale in terms of what can be happening at a casual commander table. I’m also of the opinion that the banlist could stand to have 40 more cards on it.

Genuinely i think the whole bracket system needs a rework in general. But rhystic isnt even "legal" in B2. Im sure some people run in b3 but Its usually played in like B4 and higher.
