@MarcoFoster_ @KyleKulinski I would settle for the media at least grabbing the microphone if Congress isn't going to grab the steering wheel. They won't ever truly hold him accountable.

New: Trump pardoned nursing home owner Joseph Schwartz just 3 months into his sentence for a $39 million fraud scheme. Meanwhile, families who won multimillion-dollar wrongful death suits against Schwartz haven’t collected a cent. propub.li/4di7xXs

@TheSaurus831 Please don't take this the wrong way, but can we stop calling people retards, cunts, and other derogatory names? Now, if you call them ill-informed, smooth-brained orcs or repugnant miscreants that would be more effective.

MAI

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran. This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war. Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons. I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late. Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

I cannot recall another time in recent American history where our economy and foreign policy have been such a dumpster fire. And I cannot find an equivalent political party in recent American history that’s been too fucking stupid to realize it.

Trump claims that we "don't need the Strait of Hormuz," and that its closure doesn't affect us... This is an extremely ignorant take. Trump is once again talking out of his ass to save his own ass... Oil is a global market FFS. When the cost of crude oil goes up, we all pay the price. Nearly every country around the world is being impacted by this crisis. Some countries have even had to impose energy usage caps. Even if the war ended tomorrow, the economic toll would still be devastating. Major oil producers have been forced to shut in their wells, meaning that they can't just magically turn the faucet back on; painful setbacks are inevitable. It will take months, maybe even years for energy production to return to prior levels. The cost of crude oil wont be suddenly restored to its pre-war equivalent either. And it's not just the price at the pump that Americans have to worry about. Prices are expected to rise for many goods. Mortgage rates are climbing back up, and interest rates aren't too far behind. There's also the greater likelihood of an oncoming recession, and estimates already show that the inflation rate is expected to exceed 4% while rising costs are expected to persist. And with the cost of fertilizer rapidly increasing as a result of this war, food costs will eventually follow. Meanwhile, the International Energy Agency, which just happens to be the global authority on this matter, just described the situation as "the greatest global energy security threat in history." So when Trump claims that the US won't be affected by the global trade disaster that he primarily caused, he clearly has no idea what he's talking about.

This is absolutely infuriating and completely idiotic. An estimated 95,000 scientists and researchers have left federal agencies since Trump returned to the White House. These are the people tracking hurricanes, studying pediatric cancer, and modeling the climate tipping points that determine whether we can still prevent catastrophe. We lost them because this administration defunded their work, shuttered their offices, and made clear that finding out the truth is no longer a government priority. NASA’s own administrator just said studying climate change isn’t part of NASA’s mission. The agency that first warned Congress about global warming in 1988 now treats that work as a distraction. Meanwhile, China and Europe are recruiting our scientists, funding their labs, and making long-term bets on the industries of the future while we gut the research infrastructure that took generations to build. We are surrendering global scientific leadership voluntarily, deliberately, and one resignation letter at a time. nytimes.com/2026/03/25/cli…

No Kings isn’t just about Trump… … it’s about the oligarchs who bought him the election … the corporations and billionaires bribing him for favors and profiting from his decisions … the Republicans refusing to put country over party … and the Democrats protecting the status quo that gave us Trump who are refusing to meet this moment because it will anger their special interest donors.
