Breaking news from the National History Day Contest in Washington DC: Matt Cummings '25 is a national finalist in the individual website category for his project "A Turning Point in History: The Battle of Saratoga." This is a big deal!

It takes courage to run for any elected office, especially in a high school. Kudos to EVERY candidate whose public spirit and concern for HHS inspired them to launch a campaign this spring!

Anybody who remembers Camilla Roundtree, a guiding spirit of the HHS METCO program for decades, will know why the book award named for her means so much to our school. Kudos to Daniel Davis '25, who would surely make Mrs. Roundtree proud!

Thanks to huge contributions from our counselors and student leaders, the Class of 2028 has made its first visit to HHS. The future looks bright!

The NEIRA and MPSRA championship regattas yielded lots of medals for HHS rowers last weekend. What a great way to finish another fantastic season!

Students in our Automotive Engineering class have been working hard to engineer their own remote control cars. Today they took their driving test (right turn into traffic, left turn into traffic, 3-point turn, and parallel parking) and passed!

A message for those preparing for the senior prom: It's raining now, but don't worry; the skies WILL clear and you WILL enjoy a night to remember with your classmates. Have a blast!

Here's to a great class that takes every unexpected challenge in stride. A roof leak makes the air conditioned auditorium unavailable for awards night? No problem. We'll use the ancient gym instead. The show must go on!

Another unforgettable Unified Track season has drawn to a close, and, as always, these student athletes delivered constant inspiration while personifying what is best about high school athletics!

Kudos to the HHS Student Council and everybody who participated in the Anna Quinlivan Memorial Dog Walk yesterday. The event raised more than $2000 in scholarship funds while affirming and extending the legacy of a very special person.

Kaylie Fabrizio and Tatum Lane, ninth-grade leaders of our SADD club, returned to HMS yesterday. With role models like this, our current eighth graders are headed for a great transition to high school!
