Real Knicks fans, we have been a laughing stock of the NBA since the '90s and even earlier than that. I go as far back as remembering Bernard King's injury in '85, which was horrendous. We flirted with LeBron, but he abused us and didn’t want to come. We flirted with Durant and Kyrie, and they said, "No thanks, we will go to the Nets." Remember when Amar'e Stoudemire was the only one with the guts to actually come and try to turn it around? He failed. Linsanity was the only positive thing, but that burnt out. The huge Carmelo trade was decent but ultimately fizzled. No real results. People here are crying about RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley being traded for OG. Yeah, I remember that 😂. Seems stupid now. You stuck with this team through all the bullshit, losing, and abuse from fans of other teams. Well, guess what! We’re not the laughing stock anymore!!!
