If it were any other country, even those run by the kuffar, allegations of the kind we are witnessing today against the highest executive in office would have triggered mass protests and outrage and calls for resignation. In Maldives, the so called 100% Islamic nation, where everyone is more or less immune to extra marital sex and relationships, not a peep. It also shows the level of desensitization to the prevalent nature of a grievous sin in Islam. Everyone is liable to sin. But Islam teaches us that those who glorify and publicize the sin face graver consequences than the one who quietly repents and regrets what they have done. The hypocrisy of it all is that if this was an MDP government in office, all ‘religious’ scholars would unanimously agree that it is the holy religious calling that every Maldivian should heed and the ground for impeachment of the “laadheenee” president.

I don’t believe a word of this so called documentary. It is full of illogical claims, and I see it as a pure attempt at character assassination. People can object to a president’s political agenda, no problem there, but going after him with Qazf, no way, it is completely unacceptable. Qazf is a major sin in Islam. This is not journalism!!!
