Here is one of the silver linings to the increased gas prices Companies that deal directly in that market are raking it in. Unlike in the past, we now have the chance to offset some of that gas pump pain with stock price gains. You already know my view; Complain or Profit.

This is the surprising solution to many other problems in JA; don't ask, expect.

The trick to paying in JA by tapping with your phone is to NOT ask if they accept Apple or Google Pay. That will mostly get you a look of confusion, followed by an unconvincing “no”. When it’s payment time I just say “card”, once the machine is out I tap the phone and don’t ask any questions. Before there can be any objections it will say approved. Works most of the time.
