Came home for the first time after six months of marriage and this is how my parents welcomed me. Both of them waited for almost an hour near the airport as Air India Express delayed flight without giving any information and then this is what I walked on when I came home. Belted a full rasmalai, daal ki poori with kathal ki sabzi at 11:00 in night with zero regrets and slept like a baby till 8:00 in the morning. Now that I look back it makes sense why my standards have always been high in love and why I can identify the bare minimums in a glance. Growing up in a family that believes in acts of service with zero glorification really helps you in having a clear sight of what you want in life and how you want to be treated. ❤️🧿
