We are thrilled that our Shoreditch store has been nominated for the @WahlProUK barbershop of the year award. This is the fourth year running we have been nominated and we have won twice. Here's hoping for the third.

On Monday 19th September, our stores will be closed for the state funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

And of course #meetthemanagers wouldn't be complete without Tommy one of our longest-serving members of the team. Tommy has been with us since the very early days in London. Started as a trainee, moving through the ranks until he moved to Shoreditch as manager

Next up is Betty, who has been with Ruffians 6 years, started as a graduate barber in the Covent Garden shop & now is Head of Barbershops and manages the Marylebone shop. Betty has been cutting hair for 12 years #meetthemanagers #weareruffians

Next up is our Cal, who joined us in November 2017 straight outta barbering school. He was promoted to manager of our flagship store in Covent Garden in April 2021. On top of all that he is also an award-winning barber having won the @creativeheadmag #risingstar award in 2019

Next up in meet the managers we have Robyn Manager of our first ever shop in Edinburgh. Robyn has been with us for 4 years and took over managing the shop in August last year #meetthemanagers #weareruffians

This is Craig, manager of our Soho store inside the iconic @libertylondon Craig has been with Ruffians coming up for 5 years but only took over managing the shop at the end of last year. #meetthemanagers #weareruffians

So of course when it came to designing a fragrance we had to pay homage to the rich history of Liberty itself An oriental fragrance with notes of exotic spices, dark woods, and soft cashmere musks, inspired by the textiles and fashions of Soho’s latest modes.

And we cannot imagine Ruffians without Soho now. Liberty the store opened its doors in 1895, founded by Arthur Lasenby Liberty. The famous wooden beams that form the framework of the iconic building were actually taken from 2 of the ships Mr. Liberty had traveled on frequently

Last but by no means least we have Soho. We were approached by the management team of Liberty in January 2017 and asked if we would be interested in taking over the barbering concession within the Menswear department on the lower ground floor.

By day, creatives sip artisan coffee in industrial-chic cafes. By night, partygoers throng the streets and the aromas of strong spirits and fresh tobacco linger in the air. So of course we used the EC2A vibe to inspire their signature fragrance.

Next stop? Shoreditch In the 16th century, Shoreditch was an important centre of the Elizabethan Theatre, in modern times it became home to Hipsters and coffeeshops & night life. On august 25th 2016 it became home to Ruffians store number 4

this opulent scent boasts oriental spices blended with mature woodland complexity.

We opened our third store on Wigmore Street in January of 2016. Our MLB fragrance is a rich and sophisticated blend of mahogany woods, expensive oiled leathers, and oriental resins. Inspired by the tall townhouses with their collections of libraries, studies, and antiques;

Go West specifically W1 Londons West End, there is something mystical about the area of Westminster with its history stretching back to 1540 when it became a city, becoming the Metropolitan Borough of Westminster in 1900. Marylebone is still often described as a Village.
