In order to ensure free and fair elections tomorrow in #Bangladesh it is important that minority communities, where they feel at risk, are given appropriate protection and support, to help them vote, when that is what they wish to do. It has been brought to my attention that at least a section of the Hindu community in Panchagarh–1 have written to the Election Commission raising concerns about the law and order situation and asking for assistance so that they can vote. I do hope that in such situations like this (I am sure that this is not the only one) the Election Commission, in tandem with those involved in law enforcement, respond positively.
