The cheaper solution is staring at you in the face, just make Ted into a puppet

Seth MacFarlane says there is no plan for season 3 of ‘Ted’ at the moment, due to high cost of production, as it costs $8-10 Million per episode explaining it was like “doing an Avengers movie every 22 minutes” (via:Variety)
English

@mademoiselleles @Cunstitution @ThirdKing123 @girldrawsghosts AI usage was damn near all across the movie. And the only reason they used it was because of their “tight” budget not because they just wanted to.

English

@Cunstitution @ThirdKing123 @girldrawsghosts When it’s used in moderation sure. But AI can become a problem when execs decide not to pay the actual professionals and just use AI. I think what Ted did was fine but it can get out of hand and a good example is The Brutalist.
English

@ThirdKing123 @rumdoog14 @girldrawsghosts What a strange opinion you have. Of course it's ok to use technology. There is no "justification" needed.
English

@ThirdKing123 @girldrawsghosts I don’t think 2 minutes of AI is affecting any jobs for people, I wish they didn’t use AI but Im not gonna be terribly mad about such a small amount. It would be different if Ted or a vital part of the show like the script etc etc was AI. But its for a dumb Bill Clinton joke
English

@rumdoog14 @girldrawsghosts once you justify a “small” use of it, you are justifying its use entirely. for now it might just be for a 2 minute joke, but then it becomes much more than that.
English

@anacondaflix @CultureCrave @AP Simply no. The First Amendment protects satire and parody so even if so, it wouldn’t go very far.
English

Seth MacFarlane says they used AI to make him look like Bill Clinton in 'Ted' S2
"It's an interesting example of how AI can be used as a tool ... We tried prosthetics, we tried traditional CGI, everything else just looked terrifying"

English

@anacondaflix @CultureCrave @AP The scene is not very flattering to Bill Clinton, if you get what Im saying
English

@CultureCrave @AP Couldn't they have just approached him?
English

@rumdoog14 @girldrawsghosts So come up with a different idea?? This is weird and creepy
English

@girldrawsghosts At least its only for a quick joke and not a full piece of the show itself. Could be much worse for a show about a talking teddy bear.
English

@girldrawsghosts To be fair, the explanation isnt nearly as bad as. “Oh I was lazy so I used AI”. He basically just says that they tried CGI, prosthetics, etc etc and all of it looked like trash, so they used AI over the CGI and prosthetics to make it look actually like Bill.
English

@WhiteHouse Ppl who truly believe ts need to have their right to vote in elections revoked
English

"Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs)..." - President Donald J. Trump

English

@LosPollosTV Los, you legit voted for one of them. What are you on about you fat pig.
English

@WadePlem @RepJeffries Idgaf about Don Lemon but Wade where the fuck was all this talk when Trump was trialed for 34 felonies and you still voted for him for president?
English

Don Lemon is an accomplished journalist whose urgent work is protected by the First Amendment.
There is zero basis to arrest him and he should be freed immediately.
The Trump Justice Department is illegitimate and these extremists will all be held accountable for their crimes against the Constitution.
