the pilot was SOOO good AND brooke made the show so so much better. the show would have been bones without the love triangle and without brooke + peyton as individual female characters and as a duo. proof is the discourse they still generate.

After dealing with Dawson Leery I’ll always be appreciative that Lucas Scott was never entitled & possessive over Peyton, sure he gets jealous sometimes: bartender in s5, Chase, Julian but he’s never an overbearing prick abt it! And he’s always supported her in regard to Jake.

@bsidecth I honestly think oth pilot episode is one of the best pilot episodes I’ve seen especially for a teen drama.

the pilot leyton scenes is the reason why i wanted to watch the show but okay. the pilot is chefs kiss and brookes character didn‘t really get integrated until S1B/2 if you‘re being honest. In the beginning it was all about the scotts and their girls peyton and haley.

@itslowkeyvoid Also it’s obviously not only 1 bad comment, she’s probs received 100s of weird comments about it. Not that she has to prove anything but do they want her to respond to every bad comment.Whatever she does they’ll find a problem with it cuz they’ve decided her man belongs to them.

It’s interesting that “one” comment is considered too insignificant to affect her, yet significant enough for people to still be discussing her reaction to it.
