After Saturday, these are the two fastest 2-milers I've ever had, all-conditions. Both sophomores:
Quaid Berger (right) - 9:03.07 (US #18)
Judah Dicks (left) - 9:56.13
Their teammate, Tristin Butler, also a soph who specializes in the 8/16, cracked 10 during indoor, too.

First lactate day of the year for this crew:
3x150 w/3 MR.
Some kids met Jesus yesterday 😂
But the results were the best ever for our first session, and we still have so many kids in other sports.
Can’t wait for our indoor opener on Friday at the Knight’s Invitational!

@808wavewarrior @THS_trackfield Yes, minutes rest. Anywhere between 3-4 mins between reps is a good range. Nothing under or over.

Our 3.62 freshmen from last year just ran a 3.49 before we got snow a couple weeks back, no wind.

We have 38 boys on our team. 20 are sprinters.
Here are our current top 10-40 yard fly times vs. their PRs from last year.
Our SR from last year was 3.73. The record owner ran a 10.85 in the 100. He just ran 3.57 today and is TIED for our new SR.
We are going much faster!

Sorry to hear about the passing of Mike Newman. He covered XC and Track for teams and coaches. He did it because he loved the sport. Gave a lot of teams and runners great exposure. He will be missed.

Someone’s going to have a GREAT weekend story for school on Monday 😅 16-year-old Cooper Lutkenhaus improves his personal best, already the HS record, by an enormous 3+ seconds to take second in the #USATFOutdoors final in 1:42.27. He sets a new U18 world record and becomes the youngest athlete ever to represent Team USA at a World Championship. Lutkenhaus moved from seventh to second in the last 200m, splitting a ridiculous 12.48 last 100m down the homestretch.
