It’s always the attackers who get the plaudits but for me Andy Robbo is one of Liverpools best ever signings. He’s been a phenomenon. The hard part to take is that he’s probably the last of a dying breed of “proper footballers”. A leader, a legend and a player we’ll always adore! 🏴❤️
Ohh Andy Andy 🎶 😢
The most important thing today is we win! BUT it’d be lovely to see us show a bit of fight and try to entertain the crowd. Be relentless from the off! Let’s get right behind them today reds! All in it together! We love you Liverpool, we do! ✊🏼❤️
40yrs ago today- walk into No73 studios & play 3 songs after no sleep. After we head to Coventry Poly. Van breaks down just outside Towcester. Hilariously, Norman screams, jumps out the van and runs off into a field! Despite the lack of sleep we win 3-2 youtube.com/watch?v=D81kqf…
@FisherFC@PaulHeatonSolo This was exactly what Fish is about - met a number of first time visitors who had a good time. And goals. Always goals! Another great win, could have been more too.
When we reformed as a fans owned club in 2009 days like this are what we did it for - community based football at its finest with the fabulous support of the legend that is @PaulHeatonSolo
Thanks Paul - we can’t wait for the new album and hope there’s a Fish related lyric!
Made it to @FisherFC and already demolished the Sharpie burger which was a very reasonable £7 (less than a pint cost at London Bridge!). Fantastic printed programme as always and free beer available thanks to matchday sponsor @PaulHeatonSolo. #nonleague#grassroots#footyscran
@Davolaar I was at that match, remember Brucie G in goal Dancing to uptown girl on the edge of the penatly area just before the start of the second half
@PaulHeatonSolo How bizarre that you were working on Caravan of love and listerning to the song that took the Christmas no.1 slot on the same days. Should have put a bet on that
40 yrs ago today- vocal rehearsals at newly bought, 52 Grafton Street. Days before, we decided to work on a new accapella arrangement- Isley/Jasper/Isley's Caravan of Love from 1985. Written below, the songs I listened to that day?!😲youtube.com/watch?v=foFK6q…
@PaulHeatonSolo These updates your sharing from forty years ago are nothing short of outstanding , if this continues evening weekly in twenty five years time will we be getting near the end of the Beautiful South days?
40 yrs ago today we rehearsed at 70 Grafton St- Over There, Sheep, Get Up Off Our Knees, We're Not Deep, I Smell Winter, Anxious, Happy Hour, People Who Grinned, & mystery song Pull Me Through. Meanwhile Flag Day climbed to No22 in the Indie Charts & brother Adi turned 25.
@ScouseRepublic@1980Sohail I understand what your say in but when you have a natural right back on the bench why constantly put our best player back there when he can do more further forward, and expecting a 17 year old to rescue us from the bench is beyond me.
@1980Sohail Slot doesn’t make the buying and selling decisions does he though. He also doesn’t tell the players to cost us goals by playing shit. Should have battered Bournemouth, players let him and US down, again!
I hope those who been sucking Slots balls enjoy Europa League football next season.
30 odd years of supporting this club never seen such a dog shit manager in charge. Don’t give me hodgson bullshit, He didn’t dismantle a title winning team & spend 450m
40 yrs ago today, Stan & I sat down at 52 Grafton Street and wrote Pull Me Through, which we never recorded The People Who Grinned Themselves To Death, which we saved until the next year. Flag Day had also risen to 28 in the Indie charts. youtube.com/watch?v=mvOItT…
