NYSC Mourns Corps Member Abdulsamad Jamiu The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) expresses its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Corps Member Abdulsamad Jamiu (NS/25A/2904), who sadly lost his life during a military operation in the vicinity of his residence at Shagari Estate, Dei-Dei, Abuja, in the early hours of Sunday, 26 April 2026. Until his unfortunate demise, Corps Member Jamiu was serving at Government Junior Secondary School, Bakin Ado, Nasarawa State, where he was contributing to national development through the Scheme. The NYSC Management notes this incident with profound concern and sorrow. The Scheme is actively engaging with relevant security agencies to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding the incident. While this occurrence is deeply regrettable, the Scheme reaffirms its commitment to the safety, security, and welfare of all Corps Members and staff across the country. Efforts will continue to be strengthened in collaboration with security and intelligence agencies to mitigate risks and enhance protection nationwide. The NYSC stands in solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult period and prays for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased. Thank you. Management.

Just got my CFA level 3 result. I passed! 🥳🥳🥳 And just like that, I’ve passed all 3 levels of the CFA program 😊 All it took was 1,100 hours of study to answer 356 exam questions over 16.5 hours of exam time 😅 I’m ecstatic! Like a room without a roof! 😃

@Wizarab10 some will say apply the Body Oil also in the water also .Use soft sponge or towel, and just once a day, if you sponge for morning nor sponge for night & d day u choose to scrub make sure you first sponge-rinse your body and scrub then rinse, use hot water o.

The CCE made this commitment on Friday, March 27, 2026, during her Keynote Speech at the 5th anniversary of the Women in Maritime and Energy (WIME) Awards held at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos. “In my capacity as Commission Chief Executive of the NUPRC, I reaffirm my personal commitment to this cause. I stand not only as a supporter but as an active ally to WIME, committed to amplifying its voice, strengthening its advocacy, and ensuring that its impact is felt across policy and practice within the maritime and energy sectors,” she stated. The NUPRC boss noted that despite gradual progress, women remain underrepresented in critical segments of the energy and maritime industries, particularly in upstream operations, where structural and cultural barriers continue to limit participation. According to her, the NUPRC is aligning with the Federal Government’s broader agenda on gender inclusion by promoting diversity in licensing, workforce participation, and stakeholder engagement, while also strengthening policies that support capacity development for women in technical roles. She called for innovative solutions, including dedicated financing windows, gender-focused investment funds, and long-term frameworks to support women-led enterprises.
