Just because you’re alone in believing in something doesn’t make you wrong. Stand firm on your ground. That, is the only way right and truth sustains amidst the vagaries of rampant propaganda and lies. Democratic strength does not apply to critical thinking. At one point, in entire world, only one man realised theory of relativity, or concept of zero, or any idea. If they thought like crowds, we wouldn’t even be rubbing stones for sparks today. We will do thousand things wrong before we find the right one. That’s the essence of self reliance and having faith in your decisions. And for the thousand wrongs, you will have these crowds clamouring for your downfall and doubting and putting you down at every step. It’s applicable to those within India, and even those outside - the foreigners, trying to pull us down by planting seeds of doubt in our minds with their words and ‘analysis’. Crowd pleasers will always go for lowest and most popular hanging fruit. That’s why criticism is easy and feels natural. What’s tougher is standing by the loyalty to the cause and holding your comments and wait for things to evolve. Every single analyst on TV or social media is 99% wrong in predicting outcomes and future action because they rationalise based on what they hear and see, and want to be the first one to say something. Think beyond the available and you’ll find a more clearer image. It may not provide you the answers immediately, but it’ll keep you on the right path of true knowledge. Learn to identify and ignore noise. Learn to follow right minds, who think better. The follower-ship and TV appearances and appointments they hold, are not the criteria for you to judge their competence as analysts and thinkers. Their analysis and timing alone should be. There will always be few million books for one Ulysses or Mahabharata. Thousands of movies for one Godfather. And in today’s world, a few million opinions for one sane advice hidden somewhere in crevices of social media. Look for that. The background noise will never stop in the world. You’ll have to find your own peace and beacon. I’m saying all this because as Indians we have started on a journey that will last few decades and generations. It is very critical that we stop worshipping false Gods and develop critical thinking as an inherent quality to identify what to believe. Public opinions are the backbone of sustained growth. We cannot have two-bit attention seekers masquerading as intellectuals pollute our minds and stray us from our path. We have to think right, act right and most importantly have faith that it’s a long and arduous uphill journey. Be prepared in mind and body and don’t lose focus. Together, we have to uplift India. Can’t have desperate criticism bring down the foundation itself. Jai Hind 🇮🇳🫡🙏

Totally agree. Said the same on @CNNnews18 on @RShivshankar’s debate. India has done three solid things: 1. Proven military dominance in both defence and offence 2. Exposed Pakistan internationally for its role in managing terror networks. 3. Non kinetic actions like Indus water treaty While everyone is focusing on first, and thinking of it as suspension of hostilities, the real damage is being done by serial 3. IWT is more than enough to bring Pakistan on its knees. There is no need to put any soldier, any jet to risk, especially when we know we can repel every attack and attack when and where we want. This cornering is perfect strategy. The war between India and Pakistan has often been touted as was of attrition. It doesn’t have to be that. We don’t need to lose even a single life and yet we can achieve our aim.

Tons of senior Air Force officers have been called. Many scientists and defence analysts have been called. The white guys are an add on. Otherwise the issue has been explained comprehensively by Indian anchors and guests. Maybe you just saw when they were broadcasting ‘ white guys’! Still not getting that’s the issue ? It’s a highly technical issue. How does it matter what skin color the analyst is What matters is who can explain it best! Audience is domestic but channel and debate is in English. And if the audience and learn and understand from a foreigner too, I don’t see any harm in it.
