@MishaLocki AGREE I loved the original custas design, he was so so cute, but the white hair kinda ruins it, although I suppose it makes sense since custas has gone through literally the worst thing that could ever happen to him actually, remember marie antoniette's syndrome?

Custas is unfortunately a victim of this trope and it’s such a shame cuz his brown hair does a fantastic job at complementing his already white dominated color palette. I know there’s a lore explanation for that choice but it still sucks #whaspoilers

@MishaLocki Given that his design is so good pre tree and his white hair clashes so bad i thought it was a take on premature greying due to stress and trauma and not just an anime thing but this could just be cope and me projecting (forced to dye my hair cause im too young to be grey 🙃)

@kilIupika Agott crossing the line of the in between may show how she also almost shares similar beliefs or is simply willing to help Coco if ever Coco strays too far. Tartah also crossing the line a little may imply how he still believes a little bit in Coco's side. my view of these panels

So much to dissect here. I love how coco is standing completely alone in the middle still caught between both paths, the pointed vs brimmed caps and then there’s Tartah, who deep down resonates with so much of what the brimmed caps idolize yet still believes in the pact necessity

@pinselwyrm i always liked the thought that they're the first ones drawn because they were the first things on Coco's mind— perhaps Qifrey and Agott are the ones who's motivated/encouraged (for lack of better word) her the most during all this? It also feeds in to my Arkco delusions. 😸
