Congratulations to Kelby Roberts for placing 2nd in Leadership Ambassador & 4th in Prepared Public Speaking! She wrote an exceptional speech about the beef industry. She also answered very difficult questions about agriculture, FFA & current events for leadership ambassador.

Congratulations to Lily Miller and Marley Clark for being the State Champions in the Discovery Food Science Demonstration! They presented a dynamic demo about the science of popcorn!

Congratulations to Jenna Lawler for placing 1st in Agriscience. She measured the decibel levels of agricultural sounds and analyzed hearing protection. A HUGE thank you to the farms & businesses that allowed Jenna to take decibel readings and to those that filled out her survey!

Congratulations to Meredith Erwin for placing second in the Persuasive Essay LDE! She wrote a fantastic essay about the future of agriculture in a high pressure situation with limited time!

Congratulations to Jessa Wagner for being the state champion in Freshman Prepared Public Speaking! She wrote and presented an excellent speech on the avian influenza and fluctuating egg prices. Thank you to all the Rushville Mock Judges who helped her!!

Congratulations to Haley Stahl for placing 4th in Freshman Prepared Public Speaking! She wrote and presented a terrific speech about electric vehicles possible uses in agriculture!

Congratulations to Ashleigh Spaeth for placing 2nd in the state in the area of Traditional Scrapbook! She put hours and hours into creating an amazing scrapbook for our chapter!

A great first day of state convention! I was too nervous to take many photos, but we have a few highlighting our day! Competitions in the morning, Malibu Jacks in the afternoon and the first session this evening with the National Officer keynote!
