Today, #AirdrieLib has been celebrating its centenary with a host of special events to mark the occasion. A time capsule created by local school children was buried by Councillor Jim Logue, this was followed by a poetry recital by local poet Ross Mitchell. The celebrations end with a sold-out visit by Airdrie author Graeme Armstrong.
