Fostering healthy competition in the healthcare marketplace - at scale - is my mission. Great quick intro to why I’m so committed to it:

it never ceases to amaze to meet these low-no profile highly profitable startups, often in-between the coasts, that have raised ~$500K-1M max yet have an order of magnitude better traction than their slick sf/nyc comps who have raised 100X more w/ no clear path to profitability.

@bchesky A public loyalty program that rewards and supports high volume users / those using airbnb as their primary housing would be interesting and incentivizing to me! But honestly: would love to hear what you think @myAidin should launch this year if you’ve got 30 for a chat :)

@healthcareandy Aidin has a “badge” that recognizes providers who take their fair share of Medicaid patients and show their commitment to keeping everyone in communities healthy.

Any healthcare company I build will accept Medicaid patients. It’s not charity, it’s just the right thing to do when so many are struggling.

Can all my cardiologist friends weigh in about this Peloton bike in the Sex and the City reboot? Surely the cigar smoking is the more likely culprit for the heart attack than the cardio.

@kpenner @jefferydinan Hahahaha I mean there have been exceptions (the PfoHo belltower calls!) but I really did instruct my friends in high school not to call after 8pm because I needed me time before 9pm bedtime. And anyone who’s ever tried to watch TV with me after dinner knows the truth… 😴

@healthcareandy 👍🤙👍 To make an impact you need to be building tech that impacts where the next step in a patient’s care happens at a micro and macro scale.

IMO, the best healthcare companies drive two types of savings: 1. Immediate savings from switching services / site of care 2. Improved health savings from reduced hospitalizations / ER visits Too many companies focus on #2 as sole value driver.

@blackxparty My parents never lied because they figured “if we wanted you kids to ask us for advice on important things, we thought we’d better not blow our credibility on Santa Claus.” Also, my sister was (rightly!) terrified by the idea of an old man breaking into her house.

For people new to venture, who are your favourite investors on here to follow? Meaning folks who really take the time to explain how things work.
