That crippled my career. If Colbert made 40 Million instead of lost 40 million, he would still be on CBS! You can’t alienate most of the country and expect to get ratings.

haven’t hosted spaces in almost a week now and tbh don’t know when i will start them back up i started hosting spaces because i wanted to give a safe space for disenfranchised / people who had confidence issues and always tried very hard to build those people up and fortify their confidence i don’t see a positive r/r in being host right now, especially when my organization proved we can beat certain kpis / metrics that indicate a successful show maybe one day in sometime we will start back up again, but i used to genuinely love hosting the space, now i see it as a chore and dont feel like babysitting and managing everyones emotions on the side when they dm crying about them being removed from speaker because the stage was full, or how I platformed someone that called that a c*nt three years ago and how they are offended. going to be brutally honest, i owe no one on the other end of these screens an explanation to why i do what i do when i decide to do it, or who i choose to hang out with. i also understand why your favorite KOLs continue to scam you all over and over again, truth is the spectators on this app but do nothing except criticize, cyberstalk, complain, and harass truly deserve every dollar that they are separated from. i use to wonder why KOLs hate their audience so much, and i genuinely LOVE my audience and am grateful for them, but its a high maintenance relationship i think i just need some time off from sorry
