CNN has a story titled “where the Harris campaign went wrong.” Nope, I won’t read it. Harris ran a great campaign. The story should be titled “where the American people went wrong.”

@JahFurry This isn’t to say that we need to consider their beliefs or even necessarily debate them, we just need to understand how we got here. I don’t think anybody has that answer yet.

@JahFurry People aren’t born Trump supporters. There were conditions that shaped that person’s ideology. If you want to build a larger movement, you need to hear those conditions and offer an alternative vision for solutions. Democrats have failed to do so yet again.

It’s important to know what “folks on the other side” are thinking, but if it’s the equivalent of “earth is flat” then it’s ok to DISREGARD. example; “But Trump isn’t hateful, he is a uniter!” false. disregard. and so on. Trust your eyes & ears & nose people. sh*t does smell

@Comixace @DominoComics Focusing on the outsider/insider narrative or the “sanity” narrative was a catastrophic failure in 2016, and I bet it won’t be much better in 2024. I’m not sure Dems have what it takes to change course. They’ll lose and blame the left, or they’ll win and credit the right.

Biden understood that Bernie’s coalition was real and used that coalition to get elected and (shockingly to me) respected that coalition when in power. Harris jettisoned that coalition for…the Cheneys. The election will prove what direction party takes based on this choice.

It’s a bad idea to play insider/outsider politics with the far right. Most people hate DC insiders, and for good reason.
