The U.S. military base at Souda Bay, Crete plays a key role in the war on Iran.
The base appears to be building hardened aircraft shelters, suggesting that its command fears drone/missile attacks from Iran.

I see a lot of people on here today are confused about why the Democrats aren't doing more to stop Trump's Iran insanity. I'm sorry to break it to you, but the Democrats are funded & controlled by the same dark forces as the Republicans, namely the Israeli government and the deep state. Ultimately they do not have different goals. Most Democrats who appear to oppose Trump's foreign policy only do so as a political maneuver. The fact that a Democratic administration was responsible for most of the Gaza genocide should have tipped you off, if you hadn't figured that out already

The powers that be in the US and Israel saw that they could inflict massive collective punishment on the civilian population of Gaza with little to no pushback, particularly from those with the power to do something about it.
They flaunted a literal Mossad –CIA operated sex trafficking ring, and the establishment ignored it.
Seeing that what they could get away with, they are now exporting this model across the globe. Wreaking death and destruction against any nation with a regime they perceive as hostile to their supremacist death cult, civilians be damned.
