Today marked the 8 year anniversary of my one & only championship in hockey with the Cochrane Crunch in the @NOJHL who now is gone! What makes it more significant is one of my teammates from that team sadly passed 3 months ago! RIP brother ❤️ thanks for being a part of history!

@HoundsInsider It’s not so much over pricing tickets. I truly believe Hockeytv is killing all Jr hockey at all levels of play at the gate. Cheaper to stay home and eat ur own snacks and your own comfort.

OHL is being priced out for the average fan.

Merrimack has added Justin Gill to the roster, and he'll make his NCAA debut tonight. Gill is a NYI 5th-round pick and he split last season between Bridgeport (AHL) and Worcester (ECHL). Gill had been enrolled at Merrimack and the NCAA cleared his eligibility this past week.

@Hockey_Robinson College hockey is going to be gross for 10 programs out of 64 which will be more less the D1 A division then there will be the rest who can’t afford the NIL.

In just a few weeks, the WHL has lost: Gavin McKenna Keaton Verhoeff Cayden Lindstrom Roger McQueen Jackson Smith Cole Reschny Absolute bloodbath. It's not the league’s fault. Just the times we’re in.

@J_Swish24 It’s the worst thing for hockey. It has caused distraction all over the hockey world at all levels. Now it’s going to be treated like NHL at College level just crazy. How is it working out with football and basketball. These are supposed to be to student athletes.

This #NCAA portal shit is just stupid in college hockey. I’ve had enough. Guys leaving programs bc they had 30 points and think they are coveted NHL like free agent stars. Well he got a 90 grand so I want a 100k. He got this and my agent said I could get that blah blah blah. Fk you. Me me me me. Where’s the loyalty. Where’s wanting to add to the tradition of the school that showed you love to begin with. This is basically pro hockey now so let’s make these kids sign 1,2,3 or 4 year deals and the only out clauses are signing an actual pro contract or not playing in 50% of the teams games the previous year (not barring injury). Mutual termination can also be a factor. That way teams and players can both enter in with an expectation of what they are exactly signing up for. You develop some “project” into a player and how does he repay you? He turns around, leaves that mid major school, goes to the BIG10 and says lick my nuts. What a system. So dumb.
