Thank you for your strong witness for Christ @charliekirk11. Thank you for pursuing truth and leading your family as a husband and father. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

⚠️Buckle up friends. A total SPLIT of the stratospheric #Polarvortex is showing up in all the data. Splits from the top down deliver impacts quick. Winter is coming back with a vengeance late month into March.

Results from our different planting dates for soybeans. First planting is around April 10th, second has been 35 or so days later. This is a 3 year average of our high volume soybean sales during those years.

What a game. So much fun being a Chiefs fan with #Mahomes as the QB1.

Results from our planting date trial this year. The two numbers that showed less yield had varying amounts of sudden death resulting in a reduced yield. This is the third year we have done this, and we have not seen a significant advantage or disadvantage to early planting.

Here is an example of an early season issue and its lasting effects. In this case we're looking at early season root injury on corn plants from anhydrous ammonia and how it affected final yield potential. The anhydrous was spring applied and in a season long drought. @Channel_NE

Historic buildings in France that survived bombardment in WW2 can not survive the cultural “enrichment” of open borders. Tells you everything you need to know.

Tar spot (trace levels) has now been detected in Atchison County, the second county positive in Northeast KS. The growth stage was between V8 and V10. Updated map: corn.ipmpipe.org/tarspot/

As you can see in my previous tweet even with dry conditions tar spot has been found in Iowa and Northeast Kansas. A lot of quality fungicides to protect your corn. @BayerCropProUS Delaro and Delaro Complete are just a couple in the Good-Very Good category against Tar spot.

@steveconaway1 The cost per tillable acre put most of those farms in the $11,500-$14,500 range. Tracts 6&7 mostly grass. Not the first time, happened several times last couple years. And not all of northeast Kansas is as you refer. Very few acres, mostly confined to extreme northeast Kansas.

I heard about these results of a land auction in Northeast Kansas from last week. First time I know of a dryland field selling for over $12k an acre in the State. For non Kansans, farmers outside of this area refer to it as “basically Iowa” due to its soil and higher rain fall.
