I’m convinced that the diehard AEW fan accounts are not actually fans of AEW in particular but rather they hate WWE so much that AEW is what they have latched onto. It’s why despite apparently not enjoying WWE they can’t seem to shut up about them

Why am I okay with the sunwell finale and Sylvanas’ appearance? Because despite what people think it wasn’t about Sylvanas it was about Death and the voids apparent fear of it.

I would like to remind people that more often than not the people complaining are often the minority because the ones enjoying something stay quiet

@blaze91610 The eleven unity wasnt the main story, xalatath assaulting the sunwell was. We lost that fight. Yes we stopped l’ura but xal still sent her army through the well. That story isn’t over and the stakes are still the fate of the world soul.

Resolution 🍉🌻Blaze 🇨🇩
@ryanalxander91 Stakes aren't there if they open and close too neatly. Especially the larger the plot implications become. If there's no tension after the resolution, there was never any stakes.

@xOscuro_4 Is xalatath and the devouring host defeated and no longer a problem? Is the world soul no longer at risk? We didn’t solve anything except prevent the blood elves from being corrupted again.

What centuries of war? Void elves are like a decade old, night elves and blood/high elves didn’t interact really after the exile unto the third war (and were friendly), and any tension between belves/helves also started with the aftermath of the third war and escalated with mop
Icy Veins@icyveins

Blood Elves, Void Elves, Night Elves, and High Elves standing together in Midnight sounds epic… until you remember centuries of war got resolved in a handful of quests. 🔥 icy-veins.com/wow/news/elven… #warcraft #midnight

@xKaedos @Caleina_Lore You’re entitled to feel how you feel and that’s fair. Yes trolls are probably next BUT like I said there is absolutely story connections to Silvermoon and the elves there. Just because liadran has had a change of heart about the Amani doesn’t mean Silvermoon has.

@ryanalxander91 @Caleina_Lore Based on Blizzards track record, I can bet money. Plus next patch all of the energy is likely going towards Zul'jan. We are talking about the company that did Nyalotha and Nazjatar in just a couple patches. Etc.

People really need to stop acting that resolution of one patch is the end of the story because it’s not 🙄

@xKaedos @Caleina_Lore Not entirely true. Will they return in the next patch maybe not but still possible remember not all elves are fans of trolls which could easily lead into conflict. My ultimate point is we can assume all we want but the fact is we don’t know what is planned or not

@ryanalxander91 @Caleina_Lore They will not be revisiting the Elven/Sunwell storyline. We have Atal'utek (hope the name is correct) next patch. And then we likely will go to the worldcore. If there's any revisiting what they just covered, it will be post TLT, and I assume we will be elsewhere by then.

The “resolving” of stories is an odd thing for me because I’m fine with it if the goal is to wrap up stories/conflicts of the past 20 years to lead us to new conflicts (I.e with the Arathi Empire) but that’s something we won’t see for years if it’s the case

For the love of god just because the Horde and alliance are trying to murder eachother doesn’t mean the factions have dissolved.

@xKaedos It could be but I lean towards it being fear (if not both) mostly due to the fact they specifically had shots of the maw energy coming off Sylvanas

@ryanalxander91 Yeah she's definitely scared. It could also be that (because she looked back at the void beam closing) she knew she had to leave so she could get to the worldcore.

Look there’s valid criticism for the ending of midnight so far but this is not one of them. It’s been heavily hinted at in the past that the void fears death and xal retreating is related to that. #worldofwarcraft

Capital. Gameplay wise I imaging this is just to set up Belves becoming a neutral race (blood for horde, high for ally) but narratively it just rubs me the wrong way 2/2 #worldofwarcraft

While I am a fan of the story in midnight the elf plot line is sitting right me narratively. Before reaching out to the horde the elves tribes were reached out to for assistance (alliance aligned elves) and now the alliance essentially has a foothold in a Horde… 1/2

This is very cute, but wow do I wish Rommath had more to do this xpac than just be grumpy at Umbric and then get proven as an idiot stooge who fully admits he was wrong about his valid grievances lol
