Very excited to share our work on identifying novel transcriptional states that drive variability in SARS-CoV-2 infection at the single cell level! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

I'm excited to share our new @biorxivpreprint! We found that individual epithelial cells grow to dramatically different sizes within a fixed time. This variability in proliferative capacity is governed by both cell-intrinsic and cell-extrinsic factors. 1/n biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

hello world! new results (with @toettch): tinyurl.com/3595banh Stem cells can self-organize morphogenesis in vitro w/o spatial patterning cues. But how? We programmed cells to record their signaling histories to map symmetry breaking during gastruloid morphogenesis (1/n)

Very grateful for the kind reception/sharing of this document over the past few years! Since graduating from the lab I've been updating a personal edit which I'm excited to share~ docs.google.com/document/d/1ps…

Took some time this week to write up some basic guidelines about how to use one of my fave #sciart tools @Illustrator to create scientific figures and blogged about it here: rajlaboratory.blogspot.com/2019/08/i-adob… (link to guide publicly available at end of blog post)

Question: what are people’s favorite *curated* gene sets for expression differences specific to cancer. Like, notch signaling, but more specifically the aberrant expression levels of notch and associated factors in cancer.

“How should we classify cell types?” is becoming a pervasive question as large scRNAseq datasets are accumulating. The next paper (@arjunrajlab) in non genetic heritability series explores how cell clustering changes when scRNAseq & lineage info are given different weights.
