Songs mean different things to different people. I want to give everyone room for their interpretation of the lyrics to “Let You Fade,” at least for now. Your version of the meaning doesn’t have to be everyone’s version. It can be about different things to different people.

@LPGuitar_ Our friends at @Fender built this guitar for Emily. It's a Candy Apple Red American Vintage II 1965 Stratocaster with a Sub-Sonic Baritone neck.

The thing is...I'm unaware of Fender ever offering a baritone Strat with SSS pickups as a production model. There's the rare Sub-Sonic model from the early 2000s, but that had a humbucker in the bridge. Could be a custom order, but I don't think that's the case.

So...interesting observations about this guitar Emily's using on Up From the Bottom. Going off hand positions, she's in Drop Bb tuning (half a step lower than Don't Stay!), and comparing to her brown Strat she uses on Over Each Other, this red Strat is definitely a baritone.
