@HP is holding my printer hostage until I re-up my ink subscription. I can't use the ink in my printer until i give them a new credit card.

I hate this two factor, subscription required world we live in. A printer I own I can't use because @HP requires an ink subscription for their hardware to work. I've talked to two AI bots, two customer service reps.... what a waste of resources. We really have to pass legislation #righttorepair

@CoraCHarrington This is the Internet!! Everybody cares about everything! The slogan should be, ‘let’s get pedantic.’ And we should not be glassing one size fits most leg avenue stockings in ‘period’ tv and films….. but we are!! (I own your book and am a big fan btw)

@ryankeely Right, it doesn’t make sense for a wardrobe department to go all-in on fully fashioned stockings because they’re expensive and delicate. I’m just saying it’s a thing I notice, because I do. I don’t expect other people to even know what I’m talking about, much less care about it.

Nylon stockings in period films set around the mid-century are never fully fashioned. There are good costuming reasons (fully fashioned stockings are expensive and delicate), but I always notice.

@CoraCHarrington amazon.com/VOGEL-VERE-Sto… these have a small amount of lycra, but do read as properly vintage on camera. I would argue these are an affordable option for wardrobe departments. in the case of stocking detail shot or for dressing the lead, splash out for a higher end stocking.
