Charlotte (freshman/goalie) and her Newsome Wolves finished off the regular season with a victory.
Charlotte recorded her second shutout of the season in goal, but came up 2 saves shy of the Newsome regular season record, though she did set the record for most saves per game (she played 3 less games than the record holder).
My favorite stat line - she cleared the ball over 100 times during the regular season and committed only one turnover off a clear.

It’s a reasonable point, but one thing that caught my eye—on third/fourth and *long*, McCarthy was 76th in percent of throws that went for a first down or TD.

Tonight’s Artemis II launch to the moon is going to cost every American about $12 each. An Artemis launch costs $4.1 billion, is 95% single-use, and is largely based on technology from the 1980’s. It’s insanely overpriced, but I’m willing to pay $12 to watch a rocket take humans back toward the moon. Can’t wait.
