Thanks to our cheerleaders for bringing the energy and school spirit to our Reading Award Ceremony! Having a cheerleading team in elementary school helps students build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills at an early age. It also creates a positive, supportive atmosphere!

Congratulations to the 4th grade Greenwood Keva Plank team on winning the Henrico County Visual Arts Award at the All In countywide event last week! This is a huge accomplishment and a testament to the team’s creativity, dedication, and hard work.

Our KinderGators had a letter parade! What a fun celebration!

Our School Secruity Officers keeps our school safe and continue to find time to build relationships with our students and staff. Their dedication, vigilance, and care help create a welcoming environment where everyone can focus on learning and growing.

Fridays are for celebrations! At 7:20am our students show their love for literacy, followed by a parent parade in front of the entire school before instruction begins at 8:00. We even livestream the ceremony so classmates can cheer on their friends!

Gator Games with our K–2nd graders is the BEST high-energy start to the day! 🐊 Every Thursday students play 2–3 games while learning how to share, compete, encourage others, and show good sportsmanship. They head back to class sweaty, smiling, and ready to learn!

120 of our 5th graders took the stage in Primetime RVA, our schoolwide Durable Skills Competition! Students tackled 4 challenges and were scored on charisma, confidence, creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration, adaptability, tone/voice, and eye contact. #Futureready
