Although Einsteinium (EMC2) has all but died since my departure in 2019, I still continue to hold the ethos of why I created it and development from my side never stops. The best thing we did was to create a decentralized cryptographic pool mechanism (Wormhole) as a way to fund independent scientific research through The Einsteinium Foundation (based in Canada). As the first non-profit organization in crypto for the purpose of funding scientific research, we helped fund:
- Viral molecular structures and cancer research
- Affordable diabetes medicine / diabetic wound treatment research
- Sleep deprivation and memory loss research
- Photonic communications / Stokes Vector modulation
- Regenerative medicine for Type 1 diabetes

A lot of people are in crypto to get rich, but from everything I’ve seen since 2011, there are only a few real paths:
Development: blockchains, exchanges, services, infrastructure, “shovels.”
Partnership: offering something real for stake, access, equity, or leverage.
Scamming: dirty lying criminal behavior.
Dedication: the long road. 50/50. Win or lose.
Luck: good luck 🤷♂️.
The ones I’ve seen get truly rich from working in the industry mostly came through development or partnership.
The rest became well-paid employees, believers waiting for their moment, or gamblers waiting for the market to bless them.
True professional crypto investors are still rare for now.
But that changes next bull market. Then everyone suddenly remembers they were “early.”

Totally agree that LTC Derangement Syndrome (LTCDS) is stupid.
However, this just makes me more bullish. As a contrarian investor, as I watch all Litecoin metrics increase over multiple cycles and innovation continue, I realize that the heard is often wrong, and simply double down on the Litecoin Meta.
We are the continuation of the cypherpunk movement.

Yesterday someone posted a fake/trolling rant about selling his litecoin and the world ate it up and celebrated it like it was real. No one cares when someone posts they bought 5,400 $LTC ... only when they sell and supposedly trash it. Not only that, but the guy who posted it even said he was just trolling. But people didn't see that. They only saw the joking negativity pointed at Litecoin. The literal hate for something like a public ledger is insane and a direct reflection of how stupid our world is.

Today, we share a breakthrough on the planar unit distance problem, a famous open question first posed by Paul Erdős in 1946.
For nearly 80 years, mathematicians believed the best possible solutions looked roughly like square grids.
An OpenAI model has now disproved that belief, discovering an entirely new family of constructions that performs better.
This marks the first time AI has autonomously solved a prominent open problem central to a field of mathematics.
