i was watching @iHarnoorSingh video of CES and I'm genuinely confused by Armatrix CEO says “product isn’t ready” + “we’re basically a 1-year old company”. public data + their own site says 2+ years old company that’s just… bullshit then the idea itself an inspection "snake" like robot” this isn’t new, tesla looked at this ages ago and walked and apparently it’s a 200kg robot??? bro do I need to bring a crane just to inspect some bullshit component? if your inspection tool is more painful than the inspection, what are we even doing. this feels less like first-principles robotics and more like: VCs with small funds pushing founders into safe sounding nonsense they can justify investing in and funding the company just because the founders are from "IITs" hard problems avoided real robotics avoided buzzwords funded college pedigree helped call it innovation if you want. To anyone who’s actually built hardware, this smells scammy.
