“Availability matters more than talent” This is the reason I would choose Diogo Dalot over any other right back in the league currently. He’s always available 10/10 and he will not stop trying until the final whistle. Saw a post earlier today when a question was asked if Dalot should be loaned, sold or kept and majority of people said he should be sold. There’re a very few full backs in the world who would offer what Dalot has offered for us. As for Matthijs De Ligt, it’s quite unfortunately that he can’t stay injury free. We’ve had that with Phil Jones over the years and it feels like a Déjà vu. If he can’t stay fit, it’s better he leaves the club. We were told he had a knock and now he’s been out for 5 months. That is unacceptable.

Matthijs De Ligt out for 5 months with a back injury. This is my favorite player at Manchester United, so this isn’t easy to say. But enough is enough. Availability matters more than talent. You can’t lead a defense from the treatment table. You can’t build consistency around a player who misses half the season, every season. United cannot afford to carry this anymore. Not during a rebuild, not at this level. With this pattern continuing, the club has to make a ruthless decision this summer. No sentiment. No excuses. Just standards…
