Not until reporters dragged it into the light. “Innocent” is a word you use for a kid who didn’t know what was happening. Altuve knew. He profited. He stayed quiet. Altuve let the entire sport eat the consequences while he kept the trophies. I don’t think he gets enough criticism for it. He’s still likely to get into the HOF.
