We may already know the new trader in ARC Raiders! Embark recently teased a new trader for the next ARC Raiders update, describing them as someone from a "nomadic tribe of surface-dwellers." If you’ve been paying attention to the game's questlines, we’ve actually been hunting this exact person for months. To understand who is coming, look at what a "Nomad" means in ARC Raiders. According to the "Blue Gate Nomads" Codex Entry, Nomads are an unknown group of survivors living entirely Topside who identify via their flags and makeshift decorations. They have figured out how to survive Topside far beyond our 30-minute window without getting obliterated by the orbital strike. This connects to a character we already know. Remember the questlines. Celeste in "Keeping an Eye Out" tasks us with tracking a specific Raider who spends most of his time Topside, leaves graffiti to communicate with Speranza, and has some history with her. Tian Wen then has us searching this same guy's hidden outposts in "What We Left Behind" across Blue Gate and Spaceport. The new trader has to be Bilguun! He matches the Nomad description perfectly: he lives Topside, marks his outposts, knows how to dodge the orbital strike, and two traders know his name. Embark doesn't plant this many breadcrumbs across quests and Codex entries for a random character. Now I don't know what is bringing him down to Speranza, but his arrival could act as our first bridge to the Blue Gate Nomads. His quests may introduce new anti-ARC gear or methods to bring ARCs down.
