BUILDING IN PUBLIC Everyone says build in public
Few people actually do it. Here’s why ~ People are scared of the feedback ~They want perfect results with zero embarrassment.
~They are scared of failure because failure feels louder when it’s public. ~They don’t want to be accountable Building in public can be a very difficult thing to do It requires sharing your progress, your failures, your messy process irl It’s about documenting the journey, not just the outcome It means
~ Documenting every moment
~ Documenting the challenges ~ Understanding criticism (sometimes hate)
~ Making genuine connections
~ Documenting your consistent
~ Holding yourself accountable And here’s the truth Your first supporters won’t fully understand what you’re building. 
Your second wave will be random people from across the world 
Third wave, a bot always commenting “Nice work” Building in public gets crazy when you have to explain your idea 77 times…
And someone will still ask
Wait… what exactly are you building exactly It’s frustrating.
