The course is well known for the U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying it hosts each year. In addition to being a good test for the pros, it is also a lot of fun, and has some great greens. I was impressed with how firm it was early in the season.

@GCAJoeA @Top100Rick It’ll be a story told in NW Ohio for years to come. I have to imagine by 2035 the putt will be remembered as a 40 footer, downhill, left to right break, hundreds watching around the green making so much noise and we witness one of the best shots in Inverness history.

@Top100Rick @NoLayingUp Pace of play was absolutely awful the days we played - almost 6 hours on one of the days. Going back in June and hope it’s better. To your point - a good resort course and facilities.

@NoLayingUp The east is unfairly maligned because it’s forced as a major course so the expectations are crazy. It’s really good.
But I’d play the West 8/10 in a 10 round split. It’s exactly what resort golf should be.
