No joint up thinking as usual. Perfect opportunity for @AgriAware to tie in with the incredible edibles and @Bordbia to promote Irish grown/ produced food yet it was wasted. They would rather use imported strawberries to make a few smoothies… it’s unbelievable..

Picked rhubarb back in February with Derek @s_rhubarb fermenting for dishes like this.. Grew Koji using @umami_chef using that to make sweet Amazake. Ordered #kilmorequay @GannetFish scallops & dried Roe for seasoning. Few other bits @woodruffdublin as you do

@mickkellygrows We planted garlic on the winter solstice, and tomatoes in January. We’ll make our own bread and serve a bruschetta style treat to the staff in June🤞 Skills learned in growing and cooking are life lasting and as important as literacy and maths. They also aid well being #SpecialEd

@mistereatgalway I cook once a week in primary school with the groups I take who have additional needs, 3rd-6th. The skills learned are immeasurable, incredibly valuable and the memories they make; life lasting. Fun factor is off the charts too!
