The protection team is still on site completing critical safety checks and repairs. Due to the remaining work required, the new estimated time is *19:00 tomorrow, 1 May 2026,* if all goes according to the plan. This follows a fire incident reported on Saturday, 25 April, causing a major outage in Johannesburg CBD and surroundings.
