@saadi69 @1spacerecorder Afridi has an average of 23.58 in ODI. That's very poor even according to a part time batsman. Only his strike rate is high but strike rate can be 200 if you score 2 runs in 1 ball and get out. It's not a right measure of batting standards. Irfan Pathan is a better all rounder .

Shahid Afridi tried to bully Irfan Pathan during Pakistan tour and mocked him by calling "fake Pathan. Then angry Irfan Pathan replied Shahid Afridi Nikal "B-S-D-K Kutta" After taking his Wicket

@Jason6522788313 @1spacerecorder As a odi batsman Kohli is great but Afridi is a big name too. Especially in Pakistan. Irfan Pathan is not and my point remains. Even in India Afridi is a bigger name than Irfan Pathan

@saadi69 @1spacerecorder Afridi is nothing compared to kohli. Kohli is declared the best Batsman of the decade by ICC along with many other trophies. Afridi is neither a good batsman, nor a good bowler. He's a lappa batsman. Only good player from Pakistan is Wasim Akram.

@Jason6522788313 @1spacerecorder I doubt he would than any Pakistan player in history but Kohli does have a lot of fans in Pakistan compared to some Pakistan cricketers. He is a big player just like Afridi. Irfan is not his only reason for using Afridi name is to get attention because he could in the field

@saadi69 @1spacerecorder Irfan Pathan is not a guest. By that logic Virat Kohli anywhere would get more crowd in pakistan than any pakistani player in history.

@MazherArshad They have to fall back on it from time to time even in the world Cup suyakumar vs USA was similar. They haven't changed the template but it does not always work. By the way a strike rate of over 160 is not conservative

80* off 49 from Shreyas Iyer and India finish on 158-7 in 20 overs. This isn’t the batting template that brought India success in T20Is and two T20 World Cup titles in recent years. Far too conservative for modern T20 cricket.

@MazherArshad They played with flair, which they seem to have lost, they are a decent side but not like the team of the 90's or 70's with which we compare them to.

Football experts, what happened to Brazil? Back in the day, it was the most feared team in the world and had the best players, like Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos, but now we barely see them win anything.

@ThePakistanExp1 Your response was no better, there are a number of factual errors in your video and would be better had you researched some of your work as you claim. Also advisable if you are debunking a video then it would be nice to actually see some clips where you say the claims were made

• Virat Kohli didn’t have a 5-wicket haul in ODIs. • Rohit Sharma didn’t have a 5-wicket haul in Tests. • Jasprit Bumrah didn’t score a Test century. • Sachin Tendulkar didn’t take 400+ Test wickets. • Yuvraj Singh didn’t take 250 + odi wickets. Can you guess the player who achieved all of these 🥶

ODI cricket hasn't been the same since 2013. Rules played their part, but flatter pitches deserve just as much blame. Put today's batters on a surface like this and quite a few "Mahamanavs" would be exposed. Coming back from a tennis elbow injury on this pitch Sachin Tendulkar produced a match winning 100 and single handedly carried the batting. Look at 12.3 .. the bounce and then the smile from MS Dhoni

@Vipintiwari952 It is likely he will break the runs record. The one which is safe is the centuries. If he is able to break the centuries record then runs are a given. I feel he will make more runs but will have fewer centuries

Sachin Tendulkar’s Test run record is no longer a straightforward target for Joe Root. It has become a long-term challenge. - Joe Root still needs 1,921 runs to surpass Tendulkar’s total Test runs. - The difficulty is increasing because both age and workload are working against him. - In the last 5 years, Root has played 65 Test matches, averaging about 13 Tests per year. - At this rate, he plays roughly 23 innings per year. - His career batting average is around 51.23 runs per innings. - If he maintains this level, he is likely to score about ~1,000 Test runs per year under ideal conditions. - Even with consistent form, it would still take him around 2 years of peak performance to cover the remaining 1,921 runs. - Once realistic factors like form dips, injuries, and natural decline with age are included, the timeline extends further. - Realistically, he may need to continue playing until 2028 to seriously challenge the record. - The key constraint is age: Root is now 35, meaning this pursuit is happening in the final phase of his career. So, On paper it looks easy, but it is gonna be hard for root to break this record.

@Unfeel34 Both are wonderful players. Of late root has had a stellar purple patch. There was a time when he was not as consistent in what is now the first half of his career. The fact Tendulkar made that many runs is a testament to his consistency

Sachin Tendulkar scored 15,921 Test runs across a career spanning 24 years debuting at 16 and playing until 40. That longevity is inseparable from his record, and it is a point his admirers rarely acknowledge with full honesty. The sheer volume of years he had available to accumulate runs is something no other batter in history has been afforded at the highest level. On June 20, 2026, Joe Root became only the second player in Test history to cross 14,000 runs and he did it in just 13 and a half years since his debut against India in December 2012. The numbers tell a story that is difficult to argue with: Tendulkar averaged approximately 664 runs per year across his 24-year career, while Root has been accumulating at over 1,000 runs per year. That is not a marginal gap it is a fundamental difference in scoring rate that gets conveniently overlooked whenever Tendulkar's records are discussed. Root, now 35, needs roughly 1,900 more runs to surpass Tendulkar's all-time tally of 15,921. With three or more years of Test cricket still plausibly ahead of him, the question is no longer whether he can get there it is whether circumstances allow him to. Cricket is unpredictable, form fluctuates, and nothing is written in stone. But if Root stays fit and available, the maths is firmly in his favour. And when that day arrives, the conversation around the greatest accumulator in Test history will need to be had with far more nuance than Tendulkar fans have traditionally allowed.
