@sab4019 Yeah of course....he did have Boro top two before he came to Wolves though. People can cherry pick stats all the time too. The worst thing we can do as a club is to keep changing our mind. Edwards was brought in for the champ. People just need to accept and get used to that fact.

Realistically, Edwards is going nowhere....and do you know what...I hope the club sticks to their guns here. Better to commit to a plan 100% with conviction than continually flip flop. At this point any Edwards Out calls is wasted energy. Enjoy the summer.

@sab4019 Agree. Just think replacing Edwards is a pointless exercise...If, as Jackson, N Shi & Edwards have told us, they have planning for the Championship for months then Id rather them have the courage of their convictions and stick to the plan. Ripping it all up is a wild idea to me.

A number of Wolves fans have been playing the “what do you expect him to do with these players?” card when other fans criticise Rob Edwards for being overly negative, defensive and conservative. 30% of the ball versus Burnley. 229 passes versus Burnley’s 559. In a game with nothing to lose.

@ConceptScouting Edwards has not shown at any point of his career any adaptability to get the most out of his players. His football is limited and reliant on luck and a lot of cloggers to run. Not a manager you want for a rebuild

@measlewolf @ConceptScouting Oooom Steve , the commentators in the play off final on Saturday were saying Edwards set Boro up not to lose it wasn’t until this coach came in that they became more progressive and on the front foot.This has continued with us it’s a borefest. Not entertaining at all

Rob Edwards 🗣️ We started the game really well and could've been three or four up. We started the second half poorly and they got back into it. Either side could have won it. You could say a draw was a fair result, but it's frustrating with the start we had. "Neither team wanted a draw - you could see both were going for it. Both goalkeepers had to make some good saves. We haven't been able to score the goals we need, which has been a problem for us this season. "But we'll have a new-look group and things will be different next season." On Mateus Mane: "Always industrious and full of endeavour and enthusiasm. There are things we can keep working on with him, but he's a fantastic young player and it's been a breakthrough season." On 16-year-old Jerome Abbey: "He's a young player we really like. He's trained with us a number of times this season and an opportunity came up for him - we thought it was the right time. He's an exciting young player, but I want to play it down a bit so we don't put too much pressure on him. He's really, really young, so let's make sure he can enjoy the game." On his time at the club: "It's been a challenge. In the second half of the season we've been competitive. It's a decent return, but it's not what we wanted. It's been tough, but we've learned a lot. Now I'm really excited about what we can do going forward - that's something we've been talking about with the supporters as well. "I want to thank them for what has been a really difficult season. We'll have a fresh start now." On squad planning for the Championship: "We're working hard on that. We don't have definitive answers on every bit of business we want to do. Quite apt that this shocking season ends tomorrow with the worst 2 teams playing each other. Never been so glad of a season to end being honest. My last wish this season - get rid of Edwards please.
